Come join us on March 1st from 5-10pm for an evening of Photography, Ceramics, and Music. On display will be Photography from local artists, William Rockwell, Martha Doughtery, Julie Wilson, and Kathleen Madigan, along with Kiera Browell. Kiera is a very talented poet and photographer along with being a long time Wash Arts student. Another young talented photographer, Julie Wilson is Trinity High and Bethany College graduate, currently pursuing a career in nursing.
Also on display will be ceramics by Christina Fortunato. Christina is talented local artist who graduated from Peter’s Township and currently attends Chatham University. Christina has launched her own pottery business called “Peace, Love and Pottery”
In addition to the beautiful art on display we would also like to welcome local musical sensations “Broken Fences”. Broken Fences is Morgan Erina & Guy Russo, an indie-folk duo from Pittsburgh. Their powerful songs and stunning harmonies have earned them rapt audiences and comparisons to Bon Iver and Simon & Garfunkel. In 2011 their first single “Wait,” was featured on Ion network’s hit drama “Flashpoint.” and just this week had their song “Trapped Inside” featured on CBS’s “The Young and the Restless”. You will not want to miss this opportunity to see them.
Opening up the Evening will be Adam Levine. Adam is a very talented local singer/songwriter from the South Fayette area. Adam is currently recording his debut album “Shapes and Shadows” in the Wash Arts Recording Studios.
